the amata Lanna is a lovely boutique hotel with twelve beautifully furnished Lanna Thai rooms around a pool and courtyard. The location is close to the Ping river entertainment district, the Loi Kroh road and the night market. The staff are friendly and helpful and even delivered birthday cake to my room – unbidden – as they had noted the date on my passport when I checked in. Would definitely stay there again.
