This small hotel is set on a quiet beach overlooking Ao Phang Nga bay, Beer and the staff are wonderfully attentive, and do everything to make your stay perfect. The sitting room / reception is beautiful, with a resident barman in the evenings. The rooms are well furnished, cosy and the hotel is ideal spot to relax after exploring the canyons of the Ao Phang Nga magrove forest – one of the most magical experiences I have ever had or taking a slightly less serene boat trip around the islands. The only shame about exploring the bay itself is that it is often populated by large crowds of lifejacket wearing tourists bobbing about in the water at every spot with a nice beach. The hotel’s own beach is deserted as you can only swim for a couple of hours at high tide, so creating a glorious Robinson Crusoe feeling in such a busy area.
