Launched in 2015, the 14 suites Mekong Princess was a research vessel prior to being refitted into a luxury Mekong River cruise vessel. As a research vessel the Mekong Princess was built to a very high standard, so safety is assured. The subsequent refit was of equally high standard and shares 5-star interiors and service with guests, and an atmosphere that harks back to the glories of the French colonial era. The Mekong Princess, at 63 metres long with a beam of 10 metres, is very spacious and comfortably accommodates up to 28 guests within the 14 luxurious suites on-board. Facilities for guests on-board include an Epicurean restaurant, full bar and lounge, a luxury spa, fitness room, and a sundeck.
The Mekong Princess Cruise sets off from Saigon Port, in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and cruises the waters of the Mekong Delta and upstream on the Bassac and Mekong Rivers to Cambodia, docking at Kampong Cham our closest port to Siem Reap and the enigmatic 12th century Angkor Wat temple complex. This luxury Mekong River cruise then returns downstream from Siem Reap to Saigon. Both of the upstream and downstream Mekong Princess Cruises are over 7 nights and are inclusive of fascinating shore trips and excursions to share with you the authentic stories of the people and history of these enchanting lands. A luxury Mekong River Cruise has to be the absolute best way to discover and experience the wonderful sights, sounds and tastes of Vietnam and Cambodia.

Eric Christophe
Your Host and The Team
“If you put passion in your job, it will bring perfection in your work". Along with the Viet Princess Cruise, I have always believed it is in the best interests of the company and its crew, to embrace and love the countries and inhabitants you work and cruise within. After decades of experience working for some of the most renowned cruise lines in the world, I decided to settle for a while in this fascinating part of the world. I pride myself on being a caring leader encouraging staff to develop their skills, and always making sure that for guests, no details are ever too small, and no requests too large to assure our guests satisfaction and meet and exceed their expectations.”
