General Manager

A boutique hotel in Sumbawa, Indonesia, with 20 rooms is looking for an experienced General Manager to lead the property’s operations and support its next stage of development.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in boutique hospitality, with the ability to create, implement, and maintain high-quality SOPs across all departments. The mission of this role is to raise the overall standard of the property, train and motivate the team, and ensure a consistent guest experience that reflects the character and potential of the hotel.
The position is open to candidates of any nationality, but fluency in Bahasa Indonesia is required.

Objectives:
– Oversee day-to-day hotel operations and guest experience
– Create and implement clear, effective SOPs for all departments
– Train, guide, and motivate staff to reach higher service standards
– Improve consistency, efficiency, and quality across the property
– Work closely with owners to support the hotel’s positioning and long-term goals
– Lead the team with a hands-on, boutique hospitality mindset

Required qualifications:
– Strong experience in boutique hotel management
– Proven success in a General Manager or senior operational role
– Excellent leadership, communication, and training skills
– Strong knowledge of hotel operations and service standards
– Ability to create structure, systems, and Standard Operating Procedures
– Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia
– Good command of English preferred
