Key responsibilities include:
- Managing all food and beverage operations, including restaurants, bars, conferences, events, and room service.
- Ensuring high standards of food and beverage quality, presentation, and service.
- Training, mentoring, and supervising staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Working with the Executive Chef to create and maintain menus that reflect current culinary trends and meet guest preferences.
- Monitoring inventory levels and managing ordering to minimize waste and maximize profitability.
- Implementing and enforcing health and safety protocols to ensure compliance with Bhutanese regulations.
- Handling guest feedback and resolving any issues or complaints promptly.
Food and Beverage Manager requirements and qualifications
To be considered for the role of Food and Beverage Manager at Zhiwaling Heritage Hotel, you will possess the following qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in food and beverage management.
- A degree or relevant hospitality qualification.
- Proven track record of success in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of food and beverage menu items, including wine, spirits, and cocktails.
- Math proficiency for handling transactions and managing budgets. POS and PMS system knowledge.
- Flexibility in work schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- Passion for the hospitality industry and crafting enriching experiences for customers.
