Executive Chef

A boutique hotel in Sumbawa, Indonesia, with 20 rooms is looking for an experienced Executive Chef to lead its culinary operations across two outlets, including one fine dining restaurant.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in boutique hospitality and a solid background in Asian / fusion cuisine. The role requires a creative yet hands-on chef who can work closely with the team, develop memorable dining experiences, and help raise the culinary standard of the property.
The position is open to candidates of any nationality, but fluency in Bahasa Indonesia is required.

Objectives:
– Oversee daily kitchen operations across two outlets
– Lead the culinary concept for the fine dining restaurant
– Create and develop Asian / fusion menus with a strong sense of place
– Train, guide, and motivate the kitchen team
– Implement and maintain kitchen SOPs, hygiene standards, and quality control
– Work closely with the hotel team to create memorable guest dining experiences
– Support the property in raising its overall culinary and service standards

Required qualifications:
– Strong experience as an Executive Chef or senior chef in boutique hospitality
– Experience managing more than one dining outlet
– Strong knowledge of Asian / fusion cuisine
– Creative, hands-on, and team-oriented approach
– Excellent leadership, training, and communication skills
– Strong understanding of kitchen operations, food cost, hygiene, and quality standards
– Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia
– Good command of English preferred
