Baisha (white sand), is named for the powdery white sand that decorates the surrounding countryside. It is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site that Lijiang Old Town belongs to. The Old Town of Lijiang has retained a historic townscape of high quality and authenticity. Its architecture is noteworthy for the blending of elements from several cultures that have come together over many centuries. Lijiang possesses an ancient water-supply system of great complexity and ingenuity that still functions effectively today. It is one of the first UNESCO site in China, and also one of the busiest. Baisha somehow has managed to avoid the crowds and tourist traps that plague its neighbour. The town offers an authentic cultural experience with its many temples, rich cultural heritage, stunning frescoes and zany homeopathic doctors. We propose here a 4 day and 3 night all inclusive experience to discover the Naxi minority culture in both towns of Lijiang and Baisha, at the foot of the majestic Dragon Jade Snow Mountain. A deep discovery of traditional Chinese Culture.
