The Tales of Malaya
- A Secret Retreats journey -
This journey has been personally designed by Federico, the owner of Samadhi Retreats who has been living between KL, Singapore and Tioman Island most of his life. He is sharing with us what cannot be missed on the peninsula.
All our itineraries have generally been constructed on the basis of the rooms that have the most charm or best view, and not necessarily the first prices, nor the most expensive suites.
We can of course adjust according to your request.
Highlights of the Journey:
- Kuala Lumpur, and its Petronas Twin Towers
- The UNESCO twin sister town or Georgetown Penang and Malacca and their Perenakan heritage
- The white sand beaches of Langkawi or Tioman Islands
Journey through the vibrant heart of Malaysia, where modernity meets tradition, and nature intertwines with culture. Your adventure begins in the bustling metropolis of Kuala Lumpur, where towering skyscrapers and lush green landscapes create a stunning contrast. Explore the iconic Petronas Twin Towers, delve into the spiritual heart of the city at the Batu Caves, and uncover the rich history of British colonial architecture. Then, travel back in time to the charming coastal town of Malacca, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where Dutch and Portuguese influences blend seamlessly with local traditions. From there, choose your path: to escape to the pristine beaches and rainforests of Langkawi or Tioman, where luxury and nature coexist in perfect harmony. Whether you seek adventure, relaxation, or a deep dive into Malaysia's rich heritage, this itinerary promises an experience that will leave you enchanted and inspired. Either path you take you will be able to immerse yourself in the cultural tapestry of Penang, with its historic streets and culinary delights.
This program can be arranged with an arrival in Kuala Lumpur or Penang, as a loop, as an extension from a jungle excursion in Sabah or Sarawak for instance.
