“We spent Christmas Eve at this wonderful hotel.
An oasis of calm close to the river.
You approach through mature gardens.
The colonial style hotel is small but with many areas set aside for reading and relaxing including a lovely pool area
Every attention has been paid to detail so decoration is understated but elegant.
Christmas Eve meal was a special celebration. The menu was sophisticated. The food five star! Gentle background music was provided by local musicians. There was a short Cambodian traditional dance provided too. This was a special meal but believe that evening meal every night would be superb.
Our continental breakfas included home made French bread and jams; home made yogurt and muesli. Options for other styles of breakfast were available.
The staff went out of their way to ensure our stay was as comfortable as possible. The Manager and his wife (sorry forgotten their names) also came to chat.
The hotel is a tuk tuk ride from the centre of Battambang. It’s a pleasant, interesting ride along the river
We only stayed one night but I would return and would thoroughly recommend”
