Furthermore, MesaStila Ultra race has been certified by Ultra Trail Du Mont Blanc (UTMB), where 42k participants will receive one point, 65k will receive two points, and 100k will receive 3 points.
Alongside Wonderful Indonesia, this event also receives support from the Indonesian Ministry of Travel, because it helps to expose the travel & sports industry into the International scheme, and people will have a chance to take a look at the beauty Indonesia has to offer.
“We highly support this event because it will show the beauty of Indonesian mountains, especially the ones in Central Java”, said Dra. Esthy Reko Astuti M.Si, the Director General of Tourism Marketing at the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy in the Republic of Indonesia.
“This event will be just as great as the Europen trail run competitions and also other International competitions where as many as 2300 people register for the events. We have to show the world that we can also offer beautiful tracks where the runners can enjoy the view, just like the Bromo Tengger Semeru (BTS), Rinjani Ultra and of course MesaStila Challenge Ultra”, said Hendra Wijaya, known as Kang Hendra who has been dedicating his life to running, representing Indonesia in the eyes of the world.
“Our support for MesaStila this year will be in form of organizing dinner with the ambassadors at MesaStila, as well as working together with PT KAI to provide the iconic Ambarawa locomotive, which has been one of the most attractive show during the event”, said Agung Satrio Prakoso S.H., M.H., Head of Promotion of Central Java Travel Ministry.
