"My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the Amata Lanna whilst touring through Thailand. This is a lovely, small, boutique hotel consisitng of 12 rooms. The style and build is traditional Thai design combined with modern amenities. Our room was only10 metres from the courtyard swimming pool! The hotel is located in a quiet position away from the hustle and bustle but perfect for exploring Chiang Mai with restaurants, the water boats and the Night Market only a short walk away. However, the outstanding attribute is the personal and excellent service, care and attention provided by the staff, especially Yumi the Manager. They made us feel as if we were staying with family from the start to the end."
Reverie Siam: "Wonderful relaxing hotel with delicious food!"
one of the best hotels ever. room was very clean. the stuff very friendly. the food was delicoius (nice tapas!) and the (red) wine great! nice pool to relax. i can not complain about anyting. it's worth the money.
"Beautiful setting. Less than 20 cottages spread out over a fairly large area so privacy is virtually guaranteed. Rooms are well appointed including a semi open bathroom in the garden view room we stayed in. Good dining options with the beachside restaurant our favourite. The beach itself is amazing running in both directions as far as the eye can see with not a soul in sight. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended."
Maison polanka is a 5 star done right. Stylish rooms in an intimate atmosphere with attentive and friendly service. The art works and the furnitures in the Khmer house were gorgeous, and it was a class apart from anywhere I have stayed in the region. The room is huge intact and we appreciated the large shower area with lots of rooms for the clothes to be hanged and lots of space for personal belongings. Everything was spotless on arrival, including the common areas. The food was excellent. The hotels location which is just within the city. Yes the road is bumpy but you will find a haven at the end of the pagoda. Thank you to everyone involved in making our stay so pleasant.
"The Blue Mansion is such a beautiful hotel. The history, decor and ambiance are so relaxing. The staff were very friendly and willing to help with anything. It's in a good location and they also lend you push bikes to go exploring on. There were so many thoughtful details eg in the presentation, room ""turn down"" with cake tin, and homemade jams and marmalades for breakfast. Fantastic. Room Tip: My room was on the supposed ""loud side"" but it didn't bother me. I could hear the kara..."
Satri House: "Wonderfully peaceful boutique hotel"
"Had a wonderful time at Satri house in late August for the first few days of our honeymoon. The whole hotel is full of the most fascinating antiques and curios, and is really beautifully designed. We stayed up in the Satri House suite, in the building where the prince of Laos used to sleep! The suite was so beautiful, and had a view over the serene swimming pool. If you are a fan of vintage and mid-century antiques, you will love it! Whilst staying at Satri House (due to it being the raining season) there were no other guests, so we were treated to the experience of staying in our 'own private mansion' with all of the fabulous and incredibly helpful staff there to cater for our every need. Just perfect! No matter the time of day or how late we had been out, we always returned to the hotel to find 4 people at the front desk ready to help us, and two behind the pool side bar, just in case we fancied ordering a drink! The food deserves special mention too. Dinner on the first night was delicious - lots of carefully crafted local specialities with 5* presentation. Although the hotel is set away from the main part of town, it's still within walking distance or a very easy 2 minute tuk tuk ride. We preferred being slightly further out as the peace and quiet was exactly what we wanted at the end of the day. "
Together with Le Planteur this is the best fine dining in Yangon. We went here for an early Saturday lunch. The business set lunch menu is priced at a good level. Affordable for frequent visits. I chose the Norwegian salmon entry and beef stew as main course. Wife selected the scallop soup and ravioli. All dishes were tasty and good. Also plenty of really nice bread and a taste of pumpkin soup were served. All in all a really good food in beautiful location, scenery and decor. Wish Seeds could tone down their rediculous organic focus which is not very suitable in a country depending on sustainable agriculture growth and where deforestation is an issue. Nevertheless, we hope to come back again soon for another great lunch or dinner experience.
"Tugu Hotel is an icon in Malang, East Java province, and most likely it's the best hotel in town. It has all the facilities of a 5-star hotel, bar, restaurant, swimming pool to identify some. The environment is very lush and greenish, a plus point. It's also centrally located in the heart of the city, yet another plus point. The room is neatly arranged, cozy, and clean, equipped with a tea table, fantastic.. Afternoon tea is served between 4 - 6 pm, free of charge. The staffers are warm and forthcoming, another plus point. Over all rating is 5/5."
"We went back to Supanigga (Sathorn area of Bangkok) on our return to Bangkok, as it was our favourite restaurant of a two-week holiday. The food is fantastic, the restaurant has a good atmosphere and the service is quick and friendly. Staff also speak good English. The staff even flagged a taxi for us outside the restaurant to Chatuchak market. For people who want tasty, reliable and authentic Thai food at affordable prices, Supanigga takes some beating. Please note there are three Supaniggas in Bangkok and they are well spread out so don’t forget to book the closest one."
"I don’t think I can add a superlative to this amazing dining experience that has not already been said. This restaurant is truly a hidden gem sitting quietly by the lake in this very hectic city. If you enjoy fine dining with excellent food, beautiful presentation and polite friendly staff, and very reasonable prices, you must experience a meal at Seeds."
