We stayed for two nights in March 2018. The transfer the hotel organised from the airport was super efficient and a really nice car & driver. It cost 850VND i think. I emailed ahead and asked for soya milk and synthetic pillows and both were in the room on arrival. Much to our delight we were upgraded to the Sanctuary Suite (room 203). The best balcony in the hotel with two chairs and a lounger looking over the river. The river is quite commercial so there are a few cargo ships going up & down but absolutely fascinating to watch from the balcony with a cold margarita. The room was quiet at night & very peaceful. A massive bathroom with dressing area and two sinks. Lovely four poster bed and separate seating area. The hotel has a large swimming pool (very secluded & peaceful) & small but modern gym.The mini bar was complimentary and was refreshed each day. So water, soft drinks and beer. Good to have a kettle in the room as well as coffee maker and great tea pot. Lots of power points and ones that can take a UK three pin or round two pin plugs. The restaurant over looked the river and was very pretty at night with fairy lights. The menu has a separate Vegetarian ( roughly 6 dishes) and Vegan (three dished) although I think vegan has slightly different meaning here as one dish of the three contained parmesan cheese. The restaurant were happy to adapt though. If you are a couple or three people you can sit right on the rivers edge on one of the many smaller tables. If you are a larger group there are bigger tables and comfy chairs & sofas outdoors a bit further away from the river put still in a lovely setting. Breakfast was a choice from a menu but only one vegan/ veggie option – the muesli but it was very nice. Quite a small portion. The hotel staff couldn’t be more helpful. They recommended a really nice vegetarian restaurant walking distance away. The Om cafe. All in all the best hotel we stayed in so far in Vietnam.
