We Care

The Sanak aims to be a “plastic free” property, uses only glasses bottles, provides every guest with a “green bag” to use during their stay, and educates its staff on how to reduce, reuse and recycle wherever possible. It hires local staff, and sources local produce. Besides hotel training development, it also donates supplies to the local school and sponsors up to five students per year by covering all their school costs/fees. In addition, The Sanak is a member of Pack for a Purpose, an organisation that encourages travellers to save a few kilos of space in their suitcase and bring supplies for nearby schools or medical clinics in need.
