This discrete, elegant residence located in the heart of historic Kolkata has stunning landmark views and is filled with exquisite antique Bengal colonial furniture and art. The drawing and dining rooms are adorned with Hindoostan wallpaper depicting scenes of rural India from days gone by. The balcony and tea veranda overlooking Victoria Memorial are perfect for outdoor dining, and where breakfast and afternoon tea is served (weather permitting). The terraces are used most of the year, and have vintage fans, white wicker furniture, tropical plants, and marble floors.

Grand Bengal Suites (4 units)

Victoria Suite: This suite has a king size bed and direct views of Victoria Memorial and the Calcutta maidan. There is an extra room at the entrance, oversized bathtub and shower area, but no balcony or veranda.
Maidan Suite: This suite has a king size bed, direct views of Victoria Memorial and a private balcony overlooking the Calcutta maidan.
Park Suite: This suite has a private sitting area with chaise lounge acting as a third bed, private veranda and terrace. The spacious bathroom has two sinks and a large bathtub. There is also an interconnecting door from the terrace to the Chowringhee Suite.
Chowringhee Suite: This suite has a private sitting area with chaise lounge acting as a third bed, private veranda and terrace. The spacious bathroom has two sinks and a large bathtub. There is also an interconnecting door from the terrace to the Park Suite.

Calcutta Suites (5 units)

Eden Suite: This suite has a king size bed, chaise lounge which also acts as an extra bed, views of the Calcutta maidan, and indirect views of Victoria Memorial.
Russell Suite: This suite has a king size bed, city views and a private balcony.
Loreto Suite: This suite has twin beds and a view towards Loreto Convent, Park Street and the city. The twin beds are four-poster king single sizes (approximately four feet wide).
Middleton Suite: This suite is currently occupied by the hotel manager, but it has a king size bed and he can shift to another room if needed.
Hoogly Suite: This suite has twin beds and a view towards the Calcutta Racecourse, and a corner of Victoria Memorial. The twin beds are four poster king single sizes, (approximately four feet wide). This is the only room that has a shower, but no bathtub.

You can enter The Glenburn Penthouse, located on the 8th Floor of Kanak Towers, from Russell Street (the landmark is Yes Bank which is on the ground floor), and the building is close to the Russell Street Dhaaba, or from Middleton Street, through the gate next to the Italian restaurant Fire n Ice in Kanak Building. We provide parking facilities within the Kanak Building complex.
