The Village House: "A diamond in the middle of nowhere"

Review by: Serendipiti | Source: Trip Advisor
We stayed here to enjoy a relaxed couple of days after a demanding tour theough malaysia and Borneo and though we have stayed at some of the fanciest and most luxurios hotels in the world we have to admit that the village house is one of the best accomodations we have stayed at. Sure it isn't a five star hotel with such amenities as flat screen tv's, tennis courts, jacuzzis and sorts but it makes up for it by being charming, romantic and being well taken care of. The house itself is as beautiful as it gets and gives you a 'home' feeling right from the start. You are welcomed by the manager herself and she takes care of your every need. If there is anything just let her know and she will find a way to wirl it out for you. Sort of like a good spirit. The girls are really nice as well and take good care of the facilities. The rooms are very well maintained and will be cleaned up twice daily. The food is (compared to malaysian standards) a bit pricey (but compared to western standards still ok) but soooo worth it! We can barely remember having had better asian food than the local Bidayuh cuisine. True, there isn't much you can do or explore around the village house but if you plan on a relaxing couple of days by the pool, maybe read a book then this is the place to go. My husband still claims its 'the best hotel/b&b i've ever stayed at'. We simply loved it!!

The Cabochon Hotel: "fantastic atmosphere"

Review by: Emanuela B | Source: Trip Advisor
Me and My Filippo we spent a 4 fantastic days in the Cabochon Hotel, really familiar atmosphere in a very stylish and classy place. As soon as we arrived we feel the particular hot and friendly character of the persons that manage the hotel. thank you and I hope to get there really soon.

Bassac Cruises: "Relaxing Mekong Delta cruise"

Review by: Marie B | Source: Trip Advisor
"Unfortunately, we only did a one night cruise on the Bassac 3. We really liked the cabins, the food, the staff - all was very harmonious. Our guide Annie came from the Mekong Delta and when you walk through a local village you pass her auntie's house. We had a great relaxing trip and would definitely recommend a cruise with a Bassac boat."

Noel Rodrigo’s Leopard Safaris: "4 Safari’s in 2 daya"

Review by: Nickers-original | Source: Trip Advisor
Had a great time on safari at Noel Rodrigo's leopard safari tour - we did 2 morning and 2 evening safaris and stayed in their glamping accommodation complete with shower and proper toilet. When we were not off road chasing down wildlife we enjoyed the amazing home cooked local food at the campsite. Saw lots of animals but our favourite was ending up in the middle of a herd of elephants - amazing experience! The staff were all lovely and knowledgeable - highly recommend it!

Le Calao: "Lovely place, delicious food"

Review by: Barbgreece | Source: Trip Advisor
Oh yes, and a great spot, excellent cocktails and perfect service. We’re just back from a wonderful dinner there, and very pleased. We had exclusively Lao food, and loved it. Good luck with the new endeavor.

Cuisine Wat Damnak: "Great food at such a good price"

Review by: Keith E | Source: Trip Advisor
This is very high quality food and a little different. We had the 2 different tasting menus between us, so we tried a lot of dishes- most of them were winners. It relatively so affordable compared with fine dining in major world cities as well, which is such a pleasant change.

Cuca: "Best food EVER!"

Review by: DurianKaur | Source: Trip Advisor
"I visited this restaurant with my husband and the food was so DELICIOUS! I like the concept of this restaurant - great ambience, well trained staff who will look after you and well presented food! We ordered a range of tapas but my favourite were the pork buns - give them a try! Thank you Cuca :)"

THE SAMAR: "Boutique Hotel"

Review by: Tonyraymond | Source: Trip Advisor
Only a 4 day stay,I wish it had been longer. So much to recommend about this hidden gem The rooms are luxurious fantastic bathroom.Only 9 suites and 20 odd staff to look after you swimming pool sunbeds everything cratered for plus the restaurant and food were out of this world. If you get the chance stay here you will not be disappointed . Plus of course it is central to to Ankor Wat and the other numerous temples.

Mie Cafe: "Loved Every Bite"

Review by: James B | Source: Trip Advisor
Mie Cafe offers an innovative take on traditional Cambodian food. I had the 5 course tasting menu (US$24) plus the snakehead fish cerviche appetizer. Every bite was memorable. I wish they could transport themselves to New York City so I could eat there every day.
