Nestled in the heart of Bangkok, Supanniga Eating Room serves authentic, savoury Thai cuisine using premium ingredients from Thailand’s seaside towns including fish sauce, kapi (dried shrimp paste), and salted fish. With recipes that have been passed on for more than 80 years from the owner’s grandmother, Khunyai Somsri, the cuisine showcases delicacies from the Trat and Chantaburi provinces, with a slight Isaan touch. 
The restaurant is a transformed typical shop-house with décor reminiscent of the atmosphere of Supanniga Home, located in Khon Kaen, where Khunyai was living and where the story began. The warm and comfortable dining environment is complimented by traditional northeastern utensils such kapom tables and mai fuem (an Isan weaving utensil) to transport diners through a journey into Isan culture.

      This branch has a more modern look than the original location in Thonglor, highlighted by vivid yellow hues akin to supanniga flowers. The decor draws inspiration from Isaan silk weaving, and features a decorative wall installation with colourful spools of thread, and tabletops are patterned like loom beaters. The second floor has an open balcony that also serves as an exhibition space to show the fabric work of Ease Embroidery design studio. The third floor feels more like an attic, with extra seating, high ceilings and large windows for plenty of natural light. (Seating 80 seats)
