Olivier & Kiet built Le Passe Temps boutique “maison d’hôte” some 15 years ago - a hidden place by the sea in Krabi, away from the crowd but easy to tour from, a blend of authenticity and comfort. With this program, they share their best secrets off the beaten tracks to explore the whole Bay of Phang Nga..

All our itineraries have generally been constructed on the basis of the rooms that have the most charm or best view, and not necessarily the first prices, nor the most expensive suites.
We can of course adjust according to your request.

This 270-kilometer tour over 7 days will take you from the East shores of Phang Nga Bay (Krabi), so rightly celebrated for its unique landscape, to Phuket, its most famous island, which close the bay on the West side. You will first stay at Secret Retreats’ Koh Jum Beach Villlas, on the small and pristine Koh Jum Island. The second leg of the journey will take you, after a full day visiting some of Krabi most amazing natural wonders, to Le Passe-Temps, a well-hidden Secret Inn that offers one of the best view on the bay. The last part will give you the chance to take a closer look at the karsts before stepping on Koh Yao Noi and eventually to Phuket where you will be welcome at Paresa, the only Secret Retreat member on the busy Andaman Pearl.

Your Journey Day by Day

Day 1 : Krabi Airport – Koh Jum Island (-/-/-)
Welcome upon arrival at the airport where your driver will be waiting for you and transfer you to the pier (30mn). You will board a private long tail boat (35mn) to reach the island, then again 5mn taxi and you reach the resort. Check-in and settle in your private beachfront villa for 2 nights. After check-in and a visit of the property, enjoy time to relax on the beach or by the pool.
No arrangement for dinner.
HOTEL: Koh Jum Beach Villa (One-bedroom Beachfront Villa)
Day 2 : Koh Jum Island (B/-/-)
Today, you will select one of the 2 options for your morning on board a long tail boat:
- either explore the natural beauty of the island seen from the Andaman sea and explore the diversity the island has to offer. Snorkel at the isolated islands of Koh Loga in the south of Koh Jum. Stop on the way at Koh Jum Village to discover the local culture and feel the community spirit that exist on the island.
- or experience a unique fishing opportunity with a local guide. The boat will go half way between Koh Jum and Phi Phi, in front of Koh Pu beach. There, barracuda, mackerel or grouper are the types of fish that you will have a chance to catch. Local Thai breakfast will be provided.
Back to the resort around lunch time (not included). And free afternoon and evening.

Day 3 : Koh Jum – Tha Lane (B/-/D)
After an early breakfast, you will check out and your guide will come to pick you up at Koh Jum Beach Villa at 8am. After a short ride by local taxi, we will reach the main land by private long tail boat. Depending on the pier (the choice of which depends itself on the tide on that day), we will then spend some relaxing time at a natural saline water spa or directly go on to visit the bead museum. Humble in their presentation, the artefacts tell in fact the fascinating story of the international exchanges between West and East through a maze of canals that once linked the two sides of the Malaysian Peninsula. A bustling port was actually on this very spot. Moving on, a short drive in the hills will take us to a National park home of the endangered « pita ». We are not here to disturb this small and colorful bird, but to enjoy three of Krabi most amazing gems : the Sapphire Pond, the Emerald Lake and the Hot Stones waterfall. After a tasty lunch in one of the local eateries, we will head north to Le Passe-Temps.
The rest of the day is at leisure. Dinner served at Le Bac a Sable, the restaurant of Le Passe-Temps.
HOTEL: Le Passe-Temps (Seaview Suite)
Day 4 : Tha Lane (B/-/D)
Today you will experience Krabi: Tha Lane Mangrove and Canyons by kayak (guided tour). Two unforgettable hours through canyons and the most serene mangrove in Thailand. You will glide through a playground favored by monitor lizards, macaques, and gibbons. Departure time according to the tides. Safety jacket and dry bag included.
The rest of the day is at leisure. Dinner served at the hotel.
HOTEL: Le Passe-Temps (Seaview Suite)
Day 5 : Tha Lane - Phuket (B/-/-)
After breakfast, before 10am, we will transfer you to the other side of the bay. This is a transfer day worth of a discovery tour in the bay: Tha Lane pier, where we will drop you and your guide, is set at the mouth of the river and opens to a large and very picturesque scenery. A public speedboat used by the islanders will take you to the « Small Long Island », right in the middle of the bay. You will then commute to the second port where another public speedboat will get you across to Phuket. Your driver will be waiting for you there, and will take you to your next Secret Retreats residence. Quite a journey, but don’t worry, your guide will stay with you until you are safe and sound at Paresa.
Check in and free time. No arrangement for dinner.

Day 6 : Phuket (Kamala) (B/-/-)
No program for today. You can rest and enjoy te resort or arrange activities through the concierge.

Day 7 : Kamala – Phuket Airport (B/-/-)
After breakfast and depending on the time of your flight, a car will drive you from Paresa Resort to Phuket Airport (45mn), to catch your flight for your next destination.
