That’s right, it’s time to visit Bali again!

While some have been worried about Mount Agung over the past couple months, the alert was lowered from Level IV to Level III earlier this month and the potential warning zone around the volcano has been reduced to just four kilometres.

Truth be told, many members of the Secret Retreats family works and lives on the paradise island and have never been concerned as daily life has gone on uninterrupted. Visitors to the isle have dropped since the first warnings last September, however, and now that the rainy season is over soon, April, May and June will be the ideal time to explore all that Bali has to offer – without the usual crowds!

Attend one of the traditional Balinese ceremonies happening in local temples in every village…

…or purify yourself in the holy waters of Tirta Empul…

…or surf, dive and sunbathe on one of the island’s pristine beaches.

Want to discover it all? Secret Retreats has designed a special 12-night journey covering all of Bali, from the south to the north, plus the neighbouring exotic island of Gili Air.
