Beautiful rooms and amazing breakfast, with owners and staff who are very welcoming, attentive and helpful. We loved our stay and will definitely come back if we are in Bangkok again. Highly recommended!
First off this hotel is magical in every way visually, ultimate Bali. What your dream version of Bali might be before you ever come here. Ever room is massive and filled with real art. But the grounds are the real gem here. If at all possible the Le Mayeur suite is one of the most astounding rooms I've ever seen in any suite on the entire planet. And for the price of a good hotel room in most places the suite is beyond worthy particular if your looking for something romantic. Good service as well! Highly highly highly recommended.
Stayed July 2016, traveled as a couple"
SEEDS Restaurant & Lounge: "Destined to be Myanmar’s first Michelin star restaurant ?"
"Surely this must be the restaurant to put Yangon and Myanmar’s restaurants on the Michelin map!
We dined in the beautiful surroundings and were truly amazed and delighted with a superb meal presented by chef Felix Eppisser and his team. In a country with no professional culinary schools, to create such an amazing menu and meal was simply incredible! We ate from the Elements fixed menu and every course was a true Star rated experience -
We have been fortunate to eat in a number of Michelin restaurants throughout the last 12 months in both the UK and Italy including Le Manoir and the 3 Star il Duomo in Alba ( rated in the top 10 restaurants in the world currently)... this meal was up there with the very best!
All of the staff were delightful and May our waitress and Felix”s wife Lucia looked after all guests ( and ourselves) with impeccable service.
It was inspiring to hear how they are training the future chefs and service staff to capture the true essence of high quality cuisine - all being mentored and trained on site in the restaurant. When Michelin do finally find Myanmar, ( they have not yet ventured here!) I’m sure that this will be a Star contender and worthy champion for this amazing country Thanks to all at Seeds for a memorable end to our holiday in Myanmar Don’t miss the opportunity if you are in Yangon !"
Heritage Suites: "Beautiful Oasis in this Amazing Place"
The wonderful feeling of this hotel began at the airport when you are collected in a vintage Mercedes - they give you a cool wet towel and a long cool drink. The hotel is slightly off the beaten track but it is such a beautiful place to return to at the end of a day of sightseeing and the peace and tranquility are priceless. We would not stay anywhere else. The staff were so accommodating (even when the roads outside flooded and they had to sandbag the entrance). The General Manager was always around and smiling and was so interested in what the visitors had to say. We had a bungalow which is larger than you will get anywhere else and had all the conveniences you could want or need. The pool and the food just completed the entire wonderful package. I didn't want to leave
Cuisine Wat Damnak: "Fine dining at very good value for money"
So pleased I reserved this restaurant 90 days before we got there! It is so much in demand and I am not surprised. We chose the 6-course dinner accompanied by their recommended wine and with each course you look forward to the next one. Art on a plate and simply delicious. Just $31 for the 6-courses! Unheard of!!! Chef came round each table for our comments which we really did appreciate especially when the restaurant is so busy. The hostess was also very helpful and pleasant.
Hotel Tugu Malang: "Wonderful Magical and stunning afternoon tea.."
I wouldn't say our room was the best, big but perhaps looking a bit tired and the electricals might need looking at but I still rate this hotel very highly as there really is no place like it for truly outstanding food (the menu takes a while to read and breakfast is marvellous but afternoon tea the best) and magical atmosphere, room after room of delights
Maduzi Hotel: "a very pleasent 3-day stay"
huge & clean room. free mini bar, free drink at lobby. good services from staffs, showing you all the way to your room. and they are very friendly too. just a slight far away from bts. but still walking distance. around 200~300 meter from asok bts. still a very recommended hotel.
Manda De Laos: "My favourite address in Luang Prabang"
Very beautiful place, very charming, top atmosphere, with 3 very old lotus pounds Patrimoine Mondial de l'Unesco. Food tasty, staff very professional, fair. We had dinner then lunch there, in both case we appreciate! Most recommended! Book in advance.
Amata Lanna: "an oasis in the rush of Changmai"
If you believe that small is beautiful then you will love this niche hotel. Just twelve large rooms based on the old Northern Lana style - that is teak buildings and platforms around a central pool. The staff are charming and attentive. A place to chill and relax after a busy day
