A lovely surprise in Chiang Mai. Good food and service and a great night out. French cuisine served in a semi formal setting. Personal attention to detail is impressive.
Rachamankha: "Exceptional hotel with a great restaurant"
We have stayed at the hotel for a few nights while visiting Chiang Mai. Location is great and within walking distance (15min) to many attractions that the city has to offer. Room was beautifully decorated and had all the amenities you needed except they don't give you conditioner so bring your own. I would highly recommend eating at the restaurant, we had snacks and dinner and the food and service were great. Would definitely stay again.
Dewakan: "interesting restaurant"
Restaurant trying to create not replicate. very refreshing, very affordable as its set in an educational building.
"My family (me hubby 7 year old) just had the most amazing experience with Noel and Cecile and all the staff. The campsite was clean. Beautifully eco friendly and in a perfect setting. Our tent (we went luxury) was so comfortable I wish we could have spent so many more days there.
The important thing is the way that Noel and his Drivers are knowledgeable and care so much for the environment. Unlike other cowboy jeep safaris. Their jeeps are quiet. They don't race around to chase the animals. They know what to look for. We had some amazing sightings. But it is nature so no expectations!
The evenings were spent swapping tales with others. Our daughter loved the whole experience. Food was incredible
Would love to go back!
Maduzi Hotel: "They go the extra mile"
"We LOVED our stay here! They truly go the extra mile and we were so impressed! Every little detail of your stay has been clearly thought through and they've considered how to make it better, e.g. you can check in and out at any time!! and you can have your welcome drink at any time! Additionally the Maduzi is in the perfect location, close to the BTS, in the safe Sukhumvit area. This place has everything you need from a hotel, and so much more!"
My wife and I visited David's Kitchen last night for the first time since we moved to Chiang Mai a few months ago. Our only regret is that we didn't visit earlier! Everything about the evening was excellent - the quality of the food, the wines available by the glass, the friendliness and professionalism of the staff, and our chat with the proprietor David (who then followed up with an email of thanks this morning). We look forward to returning to experience the re-modelled dining room.
The hotel was very close to the open market . The room was very clean with very cormfotsble beds, but the most amazing thing was the great service . Everyone there had a great attitude and made us feel very welcomed.
"We stayed 5 days for our anniversary and we enjoyed our time staying in this hotel. 1. Convenient location, only 20 mins drive from airport and 10 mins drive to night bazzar. 2. Artful structure, the hotel itself is the masterpiece and it is covered with collectibles of the owner, orchids are everywhere, you must visit their library 3. Peaceful atmosphere, quite & clean room, it is a great place for relax and stress relief. Friendly staffs (and their GM Paul Walker) are so helpful. Free wifi available for me to stay connected to the world. 4. Great chefs, delicious breakfast (no words), dinner is even better (must try their Myanmar curry and mango sticky rice wrap)"
Tugu Malang: "Exceptional service"
My wife and I spent two nights at Tugu Malang and I write to say how very impressed I was with their staff. On arrival my wife was unwell and the German receptionist very kindly went herself to the Pharmacy to obtain the drugs required - nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is an amazing place containing seemingly endless artefacts, paintings and sculpture. However it is the high quality of the people working here which makes it so memorable. Highly recommend.
Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge: "Best place in Nepal to relax and enjoy the scenery and environment"
What kept me going on the tough 14-day trek up to Lo Mantang in Upper Mustang was the promise of relaxing and recovering in the peace and quiet of TM's Pokhara Lodge. My four days up at the hilltop lodge, with its chirruping birds and fluttering butterflies, fabulous views of icing sugar mountains in the mornings and twinkling lights at night, were wonderfully restoring. This was my third visit and, as ever, the staff were so caring and the comfort and cleanliness, delicious meals and drinks were just as I had remembered. And I really enjoyed the good company of Marcus and the other guests. Thank you to you all for looking after me and for making me feel very special on my birthday. Staying at your lodge sums up everything I love about Nepal.
