Banlle is a vegan restaurant with a vegetarian option. Located in the heart of Siem Reap town, 5 mins walking from old market, set on 1,200sqm of land in a traditional Cambodian wooden house with two floors. Downstairs, the modern air-conditioned dining room is surrounded by glass wall, and features a cocktail and juice bar. The beautifully decorated glass door in between the spaces encourages guests to see through into the kitchen. The open air upstairs area is fan-cooled, overlooking the herb and vegetable garden. Alternatively the outside seating within the garden is the perfect place for a romantic evening, surrounded by lush tropical green vegetable and herbs.

Atmosphere: This cosy little restaurant is amongst beautiful vegetable and ornamental garden. Guests can eat under the tropical trees or indoors if air conditioning is preferred. Attentive and friendly staff welcome guests to enjoy and fulfilling and very affordable vegan fine dining restaurant.

Cuisine: Banlle serves a simple and fresh menu mixing traditional Khmer dishes and fusion western flavours. Chef Pola uses a mix of seasonal vegetables, flower, roots, beans and herbs - all grown naturally in the garden surrounding the restaurant, as well as from a few select organic surrounding farms.

“I want to bring up the idea of inspiring people’s awareness of heath, environment and the climate change crisis. I choose to serve authentic Cambodian cuisine that meets European culinary techniques to create a unique fusion cuisine by using the most of the local products, chemical free vegetables, herbs, spices and foraging in the local forests. I wanted to show my guests that the opportunity, creativity and flavours of cooking vegetables is endless. My team and I are not just a cooks, we also serve and care.
