During our recent six week trip to Southeast Asia, we had many excellent meals but a few stood out as extraordinary including a lovely dinner at Mie Café. It is a short tuktuk ride from downtown and set in a quiet garden. The food is very sophisticated and creative using local ingredients in new ways. Every dish was a delight but I have to give extra props to the crab soup which may have been the best version I have ever eaten and the amazing krill ravioli. For the quality of food and dining experience, the cost was reasonable. Reservations are a must unless you go right at opening. For foodies this is a must.
