We spent a week here in December and completely fell in love with the island. The journey for most people to get there is grim and the four hour boat journey just adds to that. However, once you arrive everything is forgotten as you relax into island life. Our room was comfortable and perfectly situated at the end of a walkway – we loved it. The food is incredible, really delicious, healthy food and I was amazed at how easily the chef was able to adapt menus for my food allergies. This was very much appreciated. The communal dinning was great fun and it was enjoyable to hear stories from everyone’s travels. My husband dived around 3 times per day and had an incredible time, especially on the night dives.I snorkeled and enjoyed pottering around the house reef which was amazing. I would definitely recommend that you try a spa treatment in the spa hut overlooking the lagoon. Incredible treatments, fabulous therapists. Kayaking around the island was also fun. The only negatives are the boat trip and check-out.If the four hours were spent on a comfortable boat where you could easily look out of the windows it would make all the difference. It would be really helpful if bills could be checked the day before with guests being given individual check out times instead of everyone hanging around waiting in the heat on the last morning. We stayed at The Swiss Bell in Sarong which was very comfortable. The staff at Misool are a really lovely group of people and we enjoyed spending our holiday with them. Will we be back…..definitely!
