“Entrusted by the owner of the yacht Hadrien Majoie, my duty is to ensure this beautiful wooden sailing boat offers the opportunity to share memorable experiences onboard while discovering remote beaches and islands in the Andaman Sea. All proceeds generated from our cruises go to a foundation that provides drinkable water to those in need.”
In cooperation with the Association 1-2-3 Action from Switzerland, all of the proceeds from this yacht are donated to the Partage d’Eau foundation. The foundation’s mission is to help provide potable water to people in need in Asia and Africa. The foundation helps to build wells after finding a water source and then siphons it to the villages with pipes. To date, the foundation has been able to provide drinking water to over 50,000 people across Thailand. In addition to this, Stereden Cruise also supports educational projects in Thailand.
Welcome to Phuket
A coveted Southeast Asia treasure, Phuket is Thailand’s only island province and its most frequented destination. Here, tranquil turquoise waters, white sandy beaches, and world-renowned diving sites are interspersed with soaring limestone cliffs and lush tropical forests. Glimpse at the century old Sino-Portuguese architecture in Old Town, Phuket’s revered landmark Big Buddha, Promthep Cape, and Wat Chalong (home to the famed half buried golden Buddha) and other cultural highlights. Delightful cuisines, and numerous annual festivals including: the festival of lights Loy Kratong, the Thai New Year Songkran, and the Phuket Vegetarian Festival, all form part of the Phuket experience.
Brief boat rides lead to the Similan Islands, Phi Phi and Phang Nga Bay. Each has something special to offer. Other watersports comprise: deep sea fishing, jet skiing, parasailing, windsurfing, sailing, sea kayaking through caves and whitewater rafting. Land activities abound. In addition to three golf courses, visitors can go jungle elephant trekking, ride an all terrain vehicle (ATV) through plantations and the forest, hike along one of the many trails in the jungle, or take a Thai cooking class. The enticing journey to the “Pearl of the Andaman” awaits.
