We are looking for an energetic and creative team player to join us at Koh Jum Beach Villas, located on Koh Jum, Krabi.

As a small resort, we are looking for people who are willing to be flexible and to help out in different roles should the need arise. As well as benefitting the resort, this also will provide the successful candidate with experience across the whole spectrum of resort management and allow them to be part of an exciting property.

General Qualifications

  • Relevant educational qualifications are required (Diploma or Degree)
  • High level of spoken and written English.
  • The ideal candidate will have the ability to speak multiple languages.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are required, both with guests and colleagues.
  • The ability to work within a team as well as individually.
  • Ability to cope under pressure.
  • Computer literate with Microsoft Office programs.
  • Additional computer knowledge and interest and ability to work with our Social Media Marketing would be an asset.
  • An appreciation and understanding of quality resort accommodation.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Willing to live on a small island and appreciate all it entails.

The position we are looking to fill will take on the following responsibilities.

  • To monitor villa assignment and amendment for smooth arrival and departure on a daily basis
  • To ensure guests expectations are exceeded and requests are handled efficiently and happily.
  • Working with both the housekeeping team and the maintenance team to ensure the villas are clean and maintained to an especially high standard.
  • To inspect villas prior to check in, to be able to instigate any necessary works to be handled by the housekeeping or the maintenance team.
  • To inspect the villas at check out, to ensure nothing has been left by the guests and no damage has been caused.
  • To work with the maintenance team to ensure the villa work schedules are adhered to and any ongoing general, as well as, emergency work is recorded, completed and signed off as satisfactory.
  • To work with the housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure that stock of consumables are kept up to date with regular stock checks in the villas as well as the stock room.
  • To instigate orders with Purchasing department and follow up on deliveries.
  • To understand and work with in the resort policies at all times.
  • Should it be required, to help with guest services and in the food and beverage division on very special occasions e.g. Christmas, New Year, Weddings etc.
  • To be flexible with overtime.
  • There may also be an opportunity for the candidate to become involved in the resorts social media (Facebook and Instagram) should the candidate have an affinity and desire.


  • A work permit and relevant visa will be provided as part of the package.
  • Salary will be dependent on experience and qualifications.
  • Air con accommodation will be provided on site.
  • Staff meals will be provided during shift hours.
  • 2 recent references are required.
