It is all great honour to invite you to the charity-dinner event\non December 1st at The Cabochon Hotel Bangkok.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
PIMALI Foundation in Nongkhai has taken shape over the last\ntwo years. The goal of the PIMALI project is to assist underprivileged youth\nand orphans at the age of 17 and older, who have finished their compulsory\nschooling in Thailand. The aid will involve providing them with a basic\npractical hotel training of one year, to secure a professional future for them\nin the hospitality industry as well as financial independence. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
With the help from all of us, PIMALI will fight exploitation\nof disadvantaged young people and reduce poverty in the north-eastern (Isan) region\nof Thailand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The foundation\u2019s training is focusing on basic hotel skills\nsuch as cooking, service, housekeeping and hotel reception. The courses will be\ngiven by Thai professionals recruited from the hotel industry. Intensive\nEnglish language courses will also be provided as to improve the chances of\nprofessional integration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Moreover, the project will include actual renewable\ntechnologies, in order to get as close as possible to a net zero energy balance\nand sustainability practice which include recuperating rainwater to use a running\nwater, separating and composting waste and to organically grow food for the\noperation of the training center as well as for the students and professors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
How Can You Help? <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
This year it has been challenging for the foundation to hold\nthe annual charity events in Switzerland, where the foundation usually\ngenerates almost 80% of their donations for the upcoming year to meet the\nneeded budget for their student-program. That was a major reason why we had\nthis desire to organize a charity night here on Thai soil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A 4-hands dinner between Chef Num of Samuay & Sons and MAK KHANG in UdonthanI and Chef\nSteven John of Empty Plates will bring magical flavours right to your tables,\ntogether they are preparing & serving a 6-course tasting menu for the main\ndining room & an even more indulgent 8-course tasting menu in the private\ndining rooms of the stunning Cabachon Hotel, located in Sukhumvit 45.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The menu will be composed with the freshest, organic\ningredients, all locally sourced and we will provide you a little pre – festive\n– season dinner experience, paired with excellent wines and cocktails.
