Set in the midst of a lost valley in northern Laos sits an oasis – the small and beautiful Muang La Resort. Surrounded by two natural hot bathing springs, this retreat for the soul has become even more appealing with the magical addition of an overflowing infinity pool, built onto a small, private island, set into the middle of the flowing river.<\/p>\n

The island itself is 5,000sqm and is connected to the Muang La Resort by bridge. This very unique 15x6m river-island swimming pool uses filtered water from the river itself and it is hard to imagine a more tranquil and unparalleled setting.<\/p>\n

Guests can watch the sunset over the hills in the romantic, private dining \u201csala\u201d area, overlooking the pool and the river \u2013 exclusively set for just 2-4 diners.
\nOr for larger groups, guests can relax by the pool enjoying dinner and drinks, sharing delights such as local gaspachos and tilapia accras.<\/p>\n

For those who like to get out and about, Muang La is also an ideal location to explore the life of hill tribes in villages around the property, and also treks, mountain bikes and other nature-sport activities.
