Cuca comes to the Margaret River Gourmet Escape this November

Bringing a taste of Bali to Western Australia’s famous wine region of Margaret River, Chef Kevin Cherkas and his team from his Jimbaran restaurant, Cuca, will take over the Voyager Estate kitchen during the Margaret River Gourmet Escape festival.

Chef Kevin will recreate his signature dishes for two special dinners on Thursday, November 16 and Friday, November 17.

It will be a truly memorable, ultra-contemporary, ‘think outside the box’ foodie experience. A sundown spent savoring mouthful after mouthful of magically crafted canapés, tapas-style bites, shared plates and best of the best of Cuca’s signature desserts, each delivered in a deliberate sequence and presented with Voyager Estate wines.

Chef Kevin’s wow-factor resume boasts extensive turns at some of the world’s best restaurants, notably, Michelin-starred Arzak, La Broche and El Bulli in Spain and Daniel, in NYC. Kevin and his Spanish entrepreneur wife, Virginia Entizne, not only realized a life-time dream opening Cuca, in Bali, in 2013, but successfully served-up a radically different, casual meets fine-dining experience. Four years on, Cuca has emerged as one of South-east Asia’s celebrated foodie destinations.

The Cuca team, in collaboration with Voyager Estate Head Chef, Santiago Fernandez, will put their fearless creativity to the test to orchestrate a flowing menu tuned to laid back beats of DJ Erik. If you can’t get to Bali, don’t miss Cuca In Residence!
