A Charity Night to Remember: Pimali Fundraising Night

401

To End the year 2020 with this heartwarming event. A memorable night that will fill our hearts and gives us hope for 2021.
The Pimali Foundation’s Fundraising Night, the 4-Hands Dinner Event at Cabochon Hotel Bangkok, on Tuesday December 1st 2020 was truly a night to remember. It was an evening of warm generosity where we raised funds for the Nongkhai based Pimali Foundation to support their important work in providing professional hospitality training for disadvantaged youth and orphans from Thailand’s north-east, aged 17 and older, who have finished their compulsory schooling in Thailand. The Pimali Foundation’s hotel school provides their students with scholarships for a one year training program to set them on a path to a professional career in the hospitality industry and hopefully a financially secure future.

Kindly joining with us to raise funds for this noble cause Secret Retreats teamed up with our skillful and generous members, Chef Steven of Empty Plates and Chef Num of Samuay & Sons, The Cabochon Hotel team, Farmer & Co. (Terra & Farmer’s Bar), and some of the Pimali Foundation’s former graduates to organize  a magical night, in a nice and cosy atmosphere, where we served a 6-course tasting menu served with wine pairing to paying guests. The dinner was also generously supported by our wine partners Taittinger and

Batasiolo Fine Wines and sponsors for raffle draws. I am very pleased to report that the event was a great success and together we raised THB 250,000 for the foundation.

The money raised will fund 3 full scholarships for the coming year.

Once again, thank you to the guests, sponsors and teams who supported this event, for all your generosity.
